Please find enclosed my statement of interest for the VI Working Group.


1.       Current vocation, employer and position


                    I currently serve as Senior Legal Director - Global Brand & 
Trademarks at Yahoo! Inc.



2.       Type of work performed in 1 above


                    In this role, I am responsible for all domain name 
portfolio issues, trademark clearance and prosecution matters.  I also assist 
on global IP policy matters including, but not limited to, ICANN issues.





3.       Identify any financial ownership or senior management/leadership 
interest in registries, registrars or other firms that are interested parties 
in ICANN policy or any entity with which ICANN has a transaction, contract, or 
other  arrangement


                    Yahoo! Inc. i a domain name reseller for Melbourne IT.  
Yahoo! is a media content team and I am in a management role.  I am also an 
owner Yahoo! stock.  I am also president of the Intellectual Property 
Constituency and I sit on the INTA Board of Directors.



4.       Identify any type of commercial interest in ICANN policy development 
outcomes.  Are you representing other parties?


                    Other than being a domain name reseller, a world famous 
brand owner and the owner of a multitude of domain names, Yahoo! has no direct 
interest in the policy development outcomess at ICANN.





5.       Describe any arrangements or agreements between you and any other 
group, constituency or person(s) regarding your nomination or selection as an 
advisory group team member


                   I am currently president of the IPC.





6.       Geographic Region associated with the nationality of volunteer 
(Africa, North America, Latin America/Caribbean, Asia/Australia/Pacific and 
Europe)
