As of today, Go Daddy does not have any plans to apply and we have no
partnership with any applicants related to new gTLDs.

Our main concern is maintaining a level playing field across both new and
existing registries and registrars.

Ok - I'll bite

We currently don't plan on applying to run any new TLDs, though that doesn't
mean that I may not personally get involved with some. I run a business. I'll
seek profit wherever I can, so why wouldn't I with new TLDs?

We are a registrar, so I'm obviously interested in outcomes in terms of what we
will or won't be able to sell in the future

However we also are a hosting provider, colo provider, offer transit, DNS, AS
management services etc.,

I am personally concerned that the board's statement could have a negative
impact on our business, as we already provide services to companies that
operate on the registry side of the fence
