In order to reach consensus on the TIME of our weekly call on Mondays, please
complete the attached Doodle poll with your preference.

This Doodle poll will close on Monday 09 August 2010 at 1800 UTC – the TIME
will be announced shortly thereafter and on our call.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CALL ON MONDAY 09 AUGUST 2010 IS AT THE NEW TIME OF 1900
UTC.
We NO LONGER have a call on Thursdays.

Let me share the blame with my co-chair, as it was a joint decision.

I would suggest 3 options:
- fixed at 17:00 ("old" schedule)
- fixed at 19:00 ("new" schedule)
- flip-flop between the two, to share the misery of an inconvenient call time

we saw your note and then... well... it's summer on the farm and i...
forgot to reply. sorry about that.
to retrace the history, we had a conversation on the call the week before and
were thinking it would be nice to move the call a couple hours later to
accommodate Cheryl's schedule (moving the call from 0300 to 0500 for her).
everybody on the call was fine with that so we went ahead and did it. but
again, your burned-out co-chair merely made a couple announcements to the list
rather than going through a full-blown Doodle poll (for which he gets
repeatedly beaten up).
so, in summary, as usual, it's my fault.
Roberto and i are thinking it's a good idea to return to the original time
(sorry about that Cheryl). any howls of protest before we do that? or...
should we poll... :-)

Is the time change only for today’s call, or is it for all calls? The reason
I ask is that some of us have standing meetings that we initially had to move
around for Monday’s at the original time. I am unable to attend this week
and that may be the case for the near future.
Why was the time changed again?
