Good day time!
Having a desire to register some domains in russian language I want to
now information about current and future standarts which will be
applied to IDN structure.
I find two parallel methods of registration: internationalized domains
in .COM and .NET zones (by RBC.RU with the consent of VerySign) and
same domains in translated to russian top-zones (".COM", ".NET", etc.
in transliteration into russian [by REGTIME.NET]).
"Regtime" is using i-DNS with iClient. Is this registration is legal?
Will the IDN system support i-DNS method? As said at the russian
official domains recorder's [ripn.ru (nic.ru)] page ICANN can decide
to make transliterized zones ".COM" and ".NET" aliases for english
".COM" and ".NET". Is this true?
Whether it is planned to add technology used REGTIME in support of
browsers?

Respectfully yours,
