Hi Everyone, Please find attached a document drafted based on the discussion from our last meeting. In general the idea is to 1. Identify the different policy aspects of IDN Variants 2. Then to provide some initial viewpoints on addressing those issues Besides incorporating some of the key items discussed last time (such as defining IDN Variants based on set of attributes rather than descriptive language, and adding some considerations for a holding pattern policy), I have also taken the liberty to add my thoughts as I was preparing the document. There are quite a number of placeholders in this draft. Also, I intend for the background and related work section to include the results from previous discussions (e.g. the IDN Implementation Working Team report, the GNSO IDN WG, the IDNC Final Report etc.).
