[jig] thoughts on adjustments going forward

Hi Everyone,

Right after the Prague meeting, Jian and I had a brief discussion about the 
configuration of the JIG going forward.
As the VIP continues its work and as the staff team on Universal Acceptance 
gears up, perhaps the best way for the JIG to operate would be for it to assist 
alongside the two initiatives.

Therefore, instead of a group for the initiation and development of 
recommendations, perhaps we should reconfigure the JIG into a standing group to 
observe and support the staff initiatives on the issues of common interest 
(between ccNSO and GNSO) on IDN TLDs going forward.  This would allow us to 
maintain a consistent role to look into issues with policy impact or 
implications from the board/staff team efforts on IDN TLDs, to provide our 
input into those teams to support implementation, and for us to report back to 
our respective councils for their further actions when needed.

Will make this one of the topics for our discussion in our next conference 
call.  Please feel free of course to discuss over this list as well.

Also, with that and also according to our previous plans, we will move away 
from bi-weekly calls to monthly calls, and the proposed meeting days are:
7 August,
4 September
2 October

Leading up to the Toronto meeting.
