.net IPC concerns

I don't understand why the Intellectual Property Consortium wants to
blacklist websites based on accusation alone. This is dumb and bad. It
seems clear the IPC is only interested in protecting the Intellectual
Property rights of the large corporations and that they don't care, even for
a second, if the rights of individual non-infringing websites get crushed in
the process.

The Law is supposed to act a Shield to protect the small and the weak from
the great and the powerful. The Law is not meant to be perverted into a
Sword with which the great and powerful can skewer the small and weak.

Please don't follow the IPC's recommendation. They say it's all
about protecting copyright but the plain reality is that it's really about
protecting the very profitable copyrights of large corporations at the (in
their opinion negligible) expense of the legitimate rights and freedoms of
the lowly individual. This is not cool.
