Intellectual Property Constituency's .NET/Verisign demands

I, as a free citizen of the United States of America and the Internet, kindly
ask ICANN to reject the Intellectual Property Constituency's request that as a
condition of Verisign's ongoing management of the .NET top-level domain, that
Verisign suspend any .NET domain that they receive copyright complaints on.
This is heavy-handed, circumvents due process and the places the enforcement of
copyright law into the hands of a corporation.
I also kindly ask that you reject the Intellectual Property Constituency's
request that as a condition of Verisign's ongoing management of the .NET
top-level domain, that anonymous and privacy-shielded .NET domains be
abolished. Users of the internet, including those who utilize .NET domains,
must be guaranteed their right to privacy unless compelled to reveal such in a
court of law.
Thank you for your attention and consideration,
Tom Hensinger
