.band gTLD?

First off, I'm a granted newbie here.

But I've noticed that the music industry doesn't really have a gTLD to
itself and gTLDs like the coveted .com and .net gTLDs are rapidly filling
up.

So why not have a gTLD dedicated to bands, .band, to facilitate just a
little more "indie" band web presence?
