How Do We Raise Global Awareness of New gTLDs - Comments

Dear Sir,

The communication plan seems to be quite comprehensive in setting up the way 
forward to increase the global awareness of new gTLDs. This indeed is quite 
important for engaging the communities around the world not only for the 
awareness purpose but also to assist them for being part of the part. In 
context to developing countries, the tool presented in the plan will help. 
However, most of these tools are online - based on Internet. The trend of using 
such online tools by the corporates executives, government top management and 
other decision makers is not very popular. In order to broadcast the message in 
a more appropriate and effective manner, ICANN may explore the ways to arrange 
some face-to-face meetings / events for such audience in developing countries. 
I belong to ICANN fellowship community and would like to add that fellows may 
be engaged to execute such activities through a community liaison program.
