Dear Colleagues,

If selected it would be my pleasure to represent NPOC at the Beijing
Meeting, having consistently worked and represented NPOC's interests within
ICANN and the Internet Governance space since the last ICANN meeting and
demonstrating NPOC's geographic, cultural and gender diversity.

My presence at this meeting would also highlight and benefit NPOC as I have
actively engaged with ICANN activities since 2009 and the Support Applicant
Review Panel will be announcing the results of not for profits selected to
be part of the new gTLD program as funded community applicants. I was the
Community Member Representative of the Support Applicant Review Panel this
year (having been selected due to my work on the criteria of the Joint
Applicant Support Working Group) therefore being present at the
announcement and sessions shall also serve as a joiner to promote NPOC to
the approved applicants and others.

I am also very interested in attending this meeting coming off of the WCIT
and the GNSO Intercessional Meeting. ICANN is in an evaluative and
transitional state and it is important that our concerns and vision is
clearly articulated and represented within the short and long term
strategies.
