[npoc-voice] IGN-INGO Protections Policy Development Process (PDP) Working Group

Dear colleagues,

I wanted to inform you that the above-referenced Working Group has started
its work. Refer to:

for the original Call for Volunteers and background information and
documents.

I wanted to encourage anyone of you interested in this Working Group to
join as a Volunteer - it is still time to do it (you will have to do a
little catching up but not a lot).

I did it myself and joined yesterday in fact.

Do let me know if you are interested and I'll introduce you to the Chair
who needs to approve new Volunteers - no problem I suspect but it is a
courtesy.

Also, the GNSO Working Group Guidelines allow volunteers to
participate by*only monitoring the progress and the discussions
* if they wish -  if you feel like that is best for your interest and work
load. In other words, you can be on calls you select, be on the discussion
list but are not expected to input or comment if you so decide. Monitoring
only is a great way to get started in developing a better understanding of
ICANN organizational sub-culture!
