[npoc-voice] INTIC4DEV admitted as a new NCSG and new NPOC Member

Dear NPOC Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that at the NCSG-EC meeting of Dec 21st
2012, INTIC4DEV (INstitut des Technologies de l'Information et de la
Communication POUR
le Développement (http://www.intic4dev.org et http://www.intic4dev.com) has
been admitted as an NCSG Member. Please join me in congratulating Olévié
Kouami who has led the application process.

Olévié, based in Lomé, Togo, Afrique de l'Ouest, has already volunteered to
act as Co-Chair of the Programs Committee of NPOC and to lead the
recruitment of new Members for NPOC in Francophone Africa. He will
participate in his first ICANN meeting at the inter-sessional meeting in LA
at the end of the month.

With this new African Member, NPOC continues its internationalization, an
integral part of making ICANN more relevant globally and civil society more
aware and more involved in the DNS and Internet Governance in general.

We look forward to a long and fruitful association between INTIC4DEV and
ICANN for many years to come.
