*The Africa Internet Summit - Register Now!*

AFRINIC, AfNOG and the Af* organisations will meet in Djibouti for two week
from 25 May-6 June for the 2014 edition of the Africa Internet Summit
(AIS).

The AIS is a multi-stakeholder event that brings together hundreds of
local, regional and international participants, seasoned ICT experts and
key players in the global Internet community.

-         * Attend training sessions on Internet number resources
management, IPv6 for both technical and non-technical audiences and
in-depth tutorials on RPKI, DNSSEC and more

-          * Share knowledge, experience and best current practices on IP
address management and distribution policies, IPv6 deployment, IXPs and
other technical topics

-          * Discuss current hot topics and events such as the WTCD, the
IANA Globalisation Process and other Internet governance issues

*- AFRINIC-20 Public Policy Meeting:*

AFRINIC will hold its 20th Public Policy meeting from 4-6 June during the
AIS 2014. The AFRINIC-20 Meeting will focus on knowledge share, regional
best practice and discussions on Internet number resource policy
development. The following policy will be under discussion during the
meeting:

*- AFRINIC Elections*

During the AFRINIC-20 Meeting, the AFRINIC Annual General Members Meeting
(AGM) will take place. During the AGM, Board elections for the following
seats will be held:

-       -  Indian Ocean regional seat

-       - Central Africa regional seat

-        - Non-geographical seat

Elections for a Policy Development Working Group (PDWG) co-chair will also
be held. One of the current co-chair's, Emile Milandou, mandate has come to
term.

Other highlights of the meeting include the Annual General Members Meeting
(for AFRINIC Members only), during which AFRINIC Board Elections for the
following seats will be held:
