Dear Alain, Dear Friends

Greetings. Alain, I have several time expressed my willingness to support the 
NPOC election process and I will take the time as needed. (I can do 26 hors 
days). What I can not do is to “take over” a process which I have not all the 
relevant information. I still don’t know even where to start and based on which 
data. As I said in the conference call, and which is one of the reasons for me 
to design, you need to be in the NCSG-EC and have access to all the different 
lists to even start an orderly election. Again, I am more the happy to do my 
duty, but I do not know how in a responsible way. You know, I am not a person 
that does things knowing they are not done well.

Dear Glen, dear Klaus: 

I am taking the initiative to initiate this but copying javascript:_e({}, 
'cvml', 'npoc@xxxxxxxxx'); for transparency. KLaus, as Chair, Membership 
Committe, if you have a little time left, you can take over this process as per 
our Charter or, if you have less time, you can confirm your agreement by saying 
so, bu objecting and suggesting an alternative or on a non-objection basis.

Here is the ballot:

For Chair NPOC: Alain Berranger
For Vice-Chair NPOC: Marie-laure Lemineur and Cintra Sooknanan
For Chair, Policy Committee: Rudi Vansnick
For Chair, Membership Committee: no candidate
For Chair, Communications Committee: no candidate
For Chair, Programs Committee: Poncelet Ileleji
For Treasurer: Rudi Vansnick
For Secretary: no candidate

Voting instructions: each member votes once for each position. There is no 
weighted voting...Each member has one vote...

For the electoral list, I or Klaus will get back to you soonest after I or him 
has consulted the NPOC-Voice email list and got confirmation of activity on the 
list from each member on the list and who will vote, as per member' 
instructions.

February 22, 2013:    Notice of Elections

March 14, 2013:        Nominations Submitted

March 24, 2013:        Formal Acceptance of Candidates Completed

April 24, 2013:           Elections Open

May 9, 2013:             Elections Close

May 10, 2013             Results Announced


Again, Klaus, please confirm this is OK with you as current Membership 
Committee, Chair or make corrections as you see fit.
