Greg...

I was on the call yesterday and the PDP06 was definitely scheduled for the first 2 days of the conference

Avri,
I was not planning to be in LA for the entire 4 days, so I'm
trying to determine which days I should be there for the Feb06
discussions. My understanding was that the Feb06 session would follow
the Dec05 session. That would put the Feb06 session somewhere in Feb
24-25. Now you say our face-to-face is Feb 22-23. Which is correct?

Hi,

This does not match my understanding of the new schedule.

We have 3 more telechats scheduled:

- 23 Jan
- 6 feb
- 15 feb

And we have a 2 day face to face on 22-23 Feb In the LA area.

In terms of document delivery, we have

- 8 feb when a draft with TOR 1-4, 6 and 5 as much as possible will

be released
- 17 feb when a draft with updated TOR 5 will be released.

During the 2 day face to face, while the agenda remains to be discussed, I am assuming that:

- one day will be dedicated to last discussions on TOR 5 recommendations and recording constituency straw opinions (as was done on the other TOR recommendations) will be finalized

- one day wil be dedicated to a final walk through on the draft report before voting on its release for public comment.

thanks
a.

Colleagues

This note is designed to help those who weren't on the call last night -- the NCUC, ISPs and IPCs.

Glen is sending out the confirmed schedule of remaining conference calls today. Those dates will also be listed on the GNSO master calendar.

I'm of the view that the remainder of the work can be completed through conference calls and email. To that end, I propose that
we:
1) complete the discussion on TOR5 by 6 Feb 2007. That would enable me to include an proposed policy recommendation in the draft
Task Force Report which I will release on 8 February.

2) a final call on 15 February can confirm the contents of the report which would be sent to the GNSO Council for their consideration. In the intervening days, I will shepherd the internal sign off processes that need to take place.

Having completed steps 1 & 2 that should leave a very small amount of work that would need to be done face to face. We will deal with
the public posting of the report after the Council has received the
report and as we get closer to the Lisbon meeting.

I believe I now have all the post Sao Paulo responses about all the
other policy recommendations on the Terms of Reference and I will be proceeding to write up the final report on that basis.

Kind regards.

Liz
