Progress on ICANN Accountability Needed

Attached are comments I filed in December 2006 related to ICANN's
development of Transparency and Accountability Management Operating
Principles.  ICANN now asks for comments on how it is doing with regard
to addressing transparency and accountability among other issues.  I
give credit to ICANN in that it has addressed a number of concerns that
have been raised with regard to transparency.  Unfortunately, I haven't
seen any progress with regard to accountability concerns.  
 
As you can see in the attached comments, ICANN has room for some more
progress regarding transparency and room for a tremendous amount of
progress with regard to accountability issues.  I look forward to
working with the ICANN staff and Board to address these concerns.
