My comments on the Verisign settlement

To whom it may concern
We have been a partner/wholesale account with Verisign for a long time.
Giving them what appears to be exclusive and almost non-revocable license to
manage TLD's such as .COM is just not good business. The only reason that
they have gone from really bad service to almost acceptable service is
because competition has forced them to. This settlement would allow them to
do what they want which they have shown is to all of our detriment. The
contract should be up for bid every 3 or 5 years and open to all legitimate
companies. The Internet is about transparency and competition. Why is ICANN
looking to make it the "old boy network"
