VeriSign seems to be under some misunderstanding. From the offer it 
seems as if VeriSign thinks it is the only entity capable of running the 
.com TLD. Obviously it is not since there are several companies 
operating several different TLD's. Negotiations with this company only 
lend credence to such falsehoods. Abandon negotiations, continue to 
court proceedings, and open the TLD up to other qualified organizations 
for bid in order to provide a stable and equitable .com for all internet 
users. VeriSign's record of self-promoting actions at the expense of 
internet users at large is unprecedented.
