It's Really Blasphemous

Hello,

Fair Competition calls for not handing over the monopoly to Verisign.
Enough has been posted around the net about the horror stories of
networksolutions a verisign company. Giving uncontrolled control of .com
means they would be holding hostage the entire .com community and be
free to armtwist small time players in market. I am unsure of any "Fair
Play" business rules which warrants this change of handing over
everything back to Verisign. Wasn't ICANN setup just for the purpose of
ensuring that Verisign doesn't indulge in unfair business practices and
this includes eliminating competition altogether as they would never
have any competitor in place who would be able to bid?

Or perhaps, it's just another way of arming Verisign to rule the .com
world. Really Sad to see Internet World Move towards "Unfair Practices"
when there are talks all around of "Fair Play". It's ironical i must
say.

Give this settlement a reconsideration "Not In The Interest Of Verisign
Alone" but the internet community in general.
