In the interest of free speech, education and a free press I strongly urge you to decide AGAINST any increase of domain name registration pricing now or in the future. There are serious problems with unequeal allocation of wealth in the industrialized world and extreme financial burdens on people with live in poverty in the industrialized nations and in the third world. 7% (or double price in 10 years) is way too much. 1% is way too much. ICANN will realize new revenues by the natural popularity of the internet and if anything they should reduce prices based on volume. Price freeze or rollback is in order for domain name registration.
