Yes, this is one of the worst aspects of the law, to my mind: the example it
sets for the rest of the world. If the U.S. does it, many, many governments
will claim "why can't we?" Ironically, at the same time the USG is initiating a
proceeding on impediments to the free flow of information (see below). I wonder
if the right hand knows what the left is doing.
