Hi-
Just wanted to let you know that we are looking into rescheduling this
session. I can't make any promises because it is a difficult task
with such a busy agenda, but we will definitely try to find a better
time.
Best regards,
Margie

I know that late schedule changes are discouraged but I think it would
be good to follow-up with Staff on this scheduling problem.

It's true. I did ask that this session not be held when GAC is in
session.

Same here and I also gather same for Heather....of note as well is that
Heather said to Chuck and I when this issue wsa first raised, that
while she also has no details she DID specifically request that any such
meeting NOT clash with GAC meeting / session commitments => Huge SIGH

Has there been any further information on the above session, scheduled
for Wednesday 8 December at 11 a.m. (e.g. panelists, moderator, scope
etc.)?
Unfortunately - particularly in the context of our recent discussion
over the likelihood of any GAC comment on this group's recommendations -
it's being held at exactly the same time as the GAC discussion of new
gTLDs and the AGB :(
BTW, my thanks to Frank and Bertrand for their thoughts on the GAC
issue. Like I said, I understood that the CWG Rec 6 proposals were not
ones endorsed by the GAC and that they were not participating in the
group either as GAC delegates or officially of their respective
governments. Nonetheless, since the GAC had expressed support for the
CWG concept and mandate, it is unfortunate that GAC communications on
the issue since then have not acknowledged or referred to the existence
of the CWG recommendations.
Since the AGB, including, specifically, Rec 6, is on the GAC agenda for
Cartagena, I hope that some consideration will be given to the CWG
recommendations during the discussions.
Cheers, and safe travels to those heading out to Cartagena,
Mary
