Dear all,
Please find some actions points below, following today's conference call:
1. WT1 and WT2 to parse a) the "AfriICANN/AFRALO statement" as well as b) the
"Brussels session questions and comments" as input for potential
clarifications/edits of their respective document parts, with
comments/justifications as appropriate. Both documents are now posted on the
Wiki - b) was also distributed to the list during the call.
2. Planning: weekly calls on Tuesdays are resumed, with the final call foreseen
for 10 August and posting of the final document on 13 August. Since the public
comment period for the June announcement runs until 21 July, the immediate
action will focus on 1 above, followed by consideration of public comments
received.
3. Discussion of the size and structure for the final report to be pursued on
the list. From discussions at the call it appears that a section on
"Suggestions for further work" would be useful, for example providing ideas for
further outreach to support organizations and for structure/use of a future
support foundation.
4. Work in WT1 and WT2 to be pursued on the list, primarily. If need for
separate WT conference calls, the WT chairs should email both Olof and Gisella
to arrange such.
Very best regards
Olof
