Dear Eric and all:
There will be a New gTLD Program update on Monday, main room, as usual.
I have pre-booked a room for the main update session for us already with large
capacity, interpreters, scribes, remote participation, etc. It is one of the
best rooms in Cartagena, actually the same room where we will have the majority
of the new gTLD program session during that week.
I hope the date/time does not present conflict, otherwise we might need to
compromise :-(
Thanks,
Karla Valente

Karla,
There are two functions to consider.
There is the continued work of the group, through its participants who
are present and available for a face-to-face meeting during the ICANN
public meeting.
And there is the presentation of the work-to-date to non-participants,
the media included, who are present and available for a presentation
during the ICANN public meeting.
Knowing how extremely difficult it is to get rooms in the venue, and
not knowing how many participants will be at Cartagena, I hope others
will indicate if they plan to attend this particular meeting, and if
so, if they want to commit to a day or an alternate form of finding
time and place to conduct a meeting.
Knowing how extremely important it is for ICANN to conduct externally
facing proof-of-service events, I'm sure that an adequate room can be
found for presentation of the Milestone, and that Kurt will find a way
to include the highlights of the Milestone in what we affectionately
refer to as the "Kurt Show".
Eric
