I oppose the proposal.
Adding regional TLDs between the ccTLDs and gTLDs will serve only to
increase the revenue of registrars/registries and to increase the confusion
of users - is it somecorp.com, somecorp.asia, somecorp.co.jp???
I'm not convinced that additional TLDs are necessary, but if they are we
have already started down the road of adding TLDs by function rather than
geography, and that practice should continue.
