It seems that the time has finally come to create a viable opportunity
for the growing prevalence of adult content on the Internet. The dot-xxx
domain provides the adult content industry the desirable opportunity to self
regulate, while providing no obstacle or hindrance to any future regulation
which may potentially be required in the future. While many non–consequential
domains have been created, this important proposal’s legitimization is
greatly in arrears.
I hope there is enthusiastic support for dot-xxx and the
creation of the resulting content defined partitioning of the Internet, as it
continues its growing role as a tool and space for all elements of society.
