[transfers-wg] Registries Constituency Feedback - Issue Matrix
All, Attached, please find the feedback from the Registries Constituency on the issues matrix that was previously circulated. Note that I have taken the liberty to move those items that are related together under one entry as a step forward in consolidating the list for submission to the GNSO. I have also reviewed the Advisory Concering Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy dated 24 January 2007. The only modifications that I would recommend would require changes to the policy itself such as adding another valid reason for denial (ie. 10. A domain name is within 60 days of a change of registrant or admin contact) and modifying in the Section 4(iii) to read "Messages received at such e-mail address must be responded to within a commercial reasonable timeframe not to exceed five (5) calendar days." since registrars may be submitting requests for copies of FOAs to this e-mail address and this item requires a response within 5 days. Since these modifications would require modifications to the policy itself, it is not appropriate to make the changes to the advisory at this time. However, I would like to the working group to consider these items in our future discussions and recommendations to the GNSO.
