Please enter the following into the record for public comment on WHOIS:

This is a September 2007 article by Bob Sullivan of MSNBC on the WHOIS
issue. I worked with Bob on this story, and other people from ICANN
communities are quoted: Wendy Seltzer and Ross Rader. Most interesting,
however, are the 42 comments posted under the article from Internet
users at large. This is far from a solid empirical sample, however, it
does constitute editorially reviewed comment from the public at large on
the possibility of the demise of WHOIS. As such it is an important
document as a whole to be considered.

Beau Brendler, Director
Consumer Reports WebWatch (and elected member of the ALAC)
