To Whom it May Concern,

Let this email stand as a formal letter of support for the .xxx initiative.

In a world perpetuated by the need for rapid exchange of information and
media, the internet has succeeded in providing an exaggerated outlet for
content, oftentimes with little or no attention paid to quality. As with
any organizational system, given the plethora of information available - the
establishment of a clear and organized way of dividing that information
seems to be the logical direction for which the internet "as a whole" will
inevitably be managed.

The issue of PORN content aside, if one were to evaluate the logic applied
to sorting information (which just happens to make up a large percentage of
the domain real estate on the world wide web) it would become obvious why
there is a strong need to (especially based on the content) remove it from
the mainstream. I would hope that (as a child of the internet revolution)
there will be a day that I can type in a search and NOT pull up hundred's of
millions of sites that may or may not have anything to do with my query. By
actively sorting this information as it is registered, the business of the
internet actually becomes more transparent.

Actually recognizing Porn's presence on the internet does not make it
immoral. Doing something about it, and in future enabling parents to
protect their children from accidentally stumbling on a pornographic site,
is in actuality the moral thing to do. People need to separate their
feelings about porn from their attitude toward the ICANN initiative.
