I don't believe that having a .xxx extension will help anyone except 
those who are selling .xxx domains.  All .xxx will do is harm freedom 
of speech, by making it harder for people to get the kind of 
information that they want.  If the goal is really to protect children, 
why not create extensions for them only, such as .kids, .teens, .youth, 
etc.  That way, instead of grouping all things on the internet that 
certain people are opposed to in one extension, and harming free 
speech, a zone can be created for kids only, which will not only 
protect them, but offer them a wider selection of things appropriate 
for them.
