It will do nothing but hurt the Internet over all.
Children who are curious will still find porn what ever it's .com or .xxx. The
way to stop them is to install software or even force Microsoft to include it
in their Windows package as a password option or even opt in or opt out. But
children who want to can get around that.
It might make some of the larger ISPs refuse to carry it. Then watch the
migration away from them as users decide they do not want to be dictated to.
What it will do is supply the US goverment with a tool to harrass porn. This
can only effect the Internet over all. Imagine the Internet without porn. Will
it be as popular?
After .xxx what next, gambling? Watch as the Internet dwindles.
