How is speculating in domain names any different from that of stocks and shares?

For the generic ones, nobody is being blackmailed to buy them. It is the Intellectual Property of the person that bought it.

Also, have you seen most of the names available? You could not give a lot of them away (IMHO).

www.WIPO.org.uk is nothing to do with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO.ORG).
