Nothing is to be gained by no growth. Internet domain namespace hasn't expanded in 15 years while the rest of the net has had near asymtotic growth. The problems you outline above ony affacte a very very small percentage of people. The solution is not no growth, the solution is more experience with more domains and a robust body of case law which will come about faster with more domains.              -- The probability of human error in a complex system is a constant.
