New TLDs are already out there.
The various Country TLDs are serving as gTLDs. This is already FACT.
It can NOT be ignored by ICANN.There is no reason now to delay the addition of
new gTLDs. The Internet has already done this. Your delay for announcement
will only be a pretense at saving face. If you take a stand NOW in July and
add the new gTLDs Immediately, you will be serving your purpose of stability to the
Internet. The Country TLDs acting as gTLDs has Now overridden your position
to delay past July. These words/thoughts are Not poppycock. They are
the Facts. You know it, I know it and Everyone who reads this Forum/has kept
up with the usage of Country TLDs knows it. Why not go ahead and add the following:
.web, .info, .shop etc. etc.? This format of new gTLDs is already in
motion via the Country TLDs. I do Not see/understand the delay on your part.
The Announcement should be in July, 2000 rather than delayed as proposed by
you until Nov. 2000. Sincerely,
