Meta Question? |

"But might I suggest that
we not forget that this discussion forum is for the creation of new TLDs in general,
not just .web. Just because our .web registry is the longest-standing pioneer registry
and has generated a lot of controversy should not stop discussion of the meta-question
at hand: how should new TLDs be created?" Ah, the meta question is already how,
not whether-or-not. Thanks for telling us, as someone who is in the business for
a longer time. I shall give up the useless battle against new generic gTLD's and
spend my time in setting up a new site, the name of which is below (I still have
to run for it though). I plan to sell scripts for the land run. I would therefore
like to answer your question ("How should the new TLDs be created?") thus: All in
a similar way, to make scripting not too difficult. It would be best if we all had
a fair chance in the run.
