I totally agree with what you say. How far things have gone already can be seen by a WIPO/ICANN/UDRP (plus other acornyms I'm sure) mock trial against the owner of CORINTHIANS.COM. Apparently a Brazilian soccer (football) team wants the name. The fact that they take up the dispute in stead of dismissing it rightaway proves enough. The present owner has bible texts on the site. I suppose that is not Intellectual Property that has to be protected.  I posted the message, which reads like a hoax, that I received about this from a list, at the site linked to below. Horror. Shivers. This should end!
