Absolutely correct. And in a situation where we have ICANN imposing an artificial scarcity, there's not much that can be done. Create as many TLDs are there are companies willing to run them, and you eliminate this problem. Set clear technical and business criteria, make them objective, and allow any company to compete. Anything else is restraint of trade in a market where scarcity need not exist.
