Thank you for your interest in ICANN At-Large.

To enable informed, structured participation of the world’s individual
Internet user community, ICANN has begun working with the community to
create a network of self-organizing, self-supporting At-Large Structures
throughout the world involving individual Internet users at the local or
issue level. Groups throughout the world (either existing organizations or
newly formed for this purpose) that focus on participation by individual
Internet users and deal with ICANN issues are encouraged to register and
participate in ICANN by submitting a simple application form (available at
<http://www.alac.icann.org/correspondence/structures-app.htm>). Groups that
meet the minimum requirements will be certified as "At-Large Structures."

You and your colleagues can create a new group and seek At-Large Structure
certification, or, if you belong to existing organizations that are
interested in being involved in issues addressed by ICANN, you can explore
whether these organizations are interested in participating in ICANN
At-Large.

At-Large organizing is in its initial stages.  The ALAC certified the first
At-Large Structures last month and more will be certified in the near
future.  New applications are posted at
<http://www.alac.icann.org/applications/> when they are received, and the
status of applications also can be found on this page.
