Term "self-nomination" is inappropriate, please do not use it |

I think that the term "self-nomination" is inappropriate
and should definitely be changed. It tends to say that "self-nominated" candidates
are silly people in search of exposure and without any real support behind them,
while in fact it will be the opposite: candidates that will get to the ballot by
this road will have shown much more support than the ones nominated by the Committee.
I'd rather talk about "people-supported" or "petition-nominated" candidates. So
I'm asking anyone who agrees with this to start using the term "people-supported"
rather than "self-nominated". It's not just a matter of words.
