... the companies that are a part of Affilias are currently the monopoly on the web in so far as new registrations go. What are the odds that you and I could go start a company registering new domains with Affilias hogging all the bandwidth advertising their own services? I mean seriously here... Affilias isn't an option... it's sowing up a monopoly, for crying out loud!
