If you think this fact will be lost in court, you are
mistaken. IOD gave value to .WEB, through years of hard work and customer
support. Now ICANN wants to give the fruits of that hard work to a company
which greases the wheels at ICANN.
In my opinion, ICANN (and the current
board members, whether they stay with ICANN or not) will spend the remainder of their
lives in court if the rewards of IOD's hard work are handed, on a platter, to
a
company which pays money, stock, or some other compensation to those board members.
So I ask the board members, before you decide to sell out the internet for a few
shekels, is it really worth the inevitable grief?
