Mr. First1,
You posted, "At a press conference held Friday, ICANNs staff emphasized that
its board of directors has the authority to overrule the staffs (ordered by ICANN
- my insertion) recommendations
and choose whatever domains it prefers."
ICANN has given itself a way out. It looks to me that ICANN
has provided itself a face saving way to award .Web to IOD.
Do you think that ICANN has at last come face-to-face with the (legal) writing on
the wall?
I certainly hope so. I am assuming that
IOD is still in the running here.
Thank you for
the post, Eliahu
