Verisign seem to mistake their role as caretakers of the .com and .net namespace for one of ownership. This needs to be addressed, and only ICANN have the ability to do this effectively.

Please consider suspension or revocation of their contract. I believe they have far overstepped the limits imposed by that contract.

Please listen to the tens of thousands of Internet users who have also signed this petition. In this day and age of spam, getting people to sign an Internet-based petition is harder than a paper one; please acknowledge the extremely grave concerns of the public and stop this madness.
