Verisign is following in footsteps of most notorious crooks, its new
sitefinder service is nothing more than domain Typosquatting ploy to
enrich Verisign and benefit no one else.

There are many many precedents where Typosquatters were ordered to cease
and desist and surrender typosquatted domains.

Specific references can be easily obtained via Google, keyword
typosquatting

Here are some quotes verbatium from WIPO decisions on Typosquatting:

The panel (The three-member WIPO panel that presided over the
arbitration ) found bad faith because "typosquatting is inherently
parasitic and of itself bad faith" because the intent is to "siphon off
traffic from its intended destination, by preying on Internauts who make
common typing errors."

see http://www.duanemorris.com/publications/pub1142.html

All independent arbitration agencies in charge of UNIFORM DOMAIN DISPUTE
policies and arbitration unilaterarly agree that Typosquatting infringes
on Trademark owners rights.

If Verisign continues sitefinder with ICANNs approval, then all
typosquatters shall begin winning typosquatting arbitrations since the
Registry has been allowed to practice this very act.
