[wildcard-comments] Letter to ICANN re: SiteFinder and cc: VeriSign
Hello, I am writing to voice my support and thanks for your work against the efforts of VeriSign to institute their wildcard program. Please know that there are a great many internet end-users who are grateful for your campaign against this program. Too many individuals are not educated enough in this area to understand the impact of such a system, and are likely to remain ignorant of the entire subject. In today's society that is a dangerous thing, since electronic privacy and standards-related functionality are being rapidly stripped from the world by both government and private industry.
