SiteFinder is neither an opt-in nor an opt-out service. It is compulsory scheme that doesn't allow users to choose. The freedom to choose is paramount. This service should be deployed at the application level (IE, Mozilla, Opera), not the DNS level.

Even the Sitefinder terms and conditions (listed at http://sitefinder.verisign.com/terms.jsp) stated that if you don't accept Sitefinder's terms, your only course of action is to stop using Sitefinder. Since there is no way to stop using Sitefinder, that makes these terms binding to the entire Internet population.

Please don't allow Verisign to force people to use this service when they don't want it.
