SiteFinder breaks the Internet. There is an assumed usability
level of the Internet, and one of the requirements is that, if a
site doesn't exist, nothing will be returned in response to a
request. No error message, no "would you like to purchase this web
address," nothing. By redirecting the user to an active site, the
functionability of software, and the end ease-of-use by the user
drops remarkably.
Do not reactivate Verisign SiteFinder. No one wants it back.
