Dear ICANN,

 

I send you this mail to express my support for the introduction of new
top-level domain names. 

 

We stay in Berlin and we  think that Capital Names like Berlin have been
noted as separate sub-category of Geographic Names in DAG3!

 

This is a step forward to our protection. As we and others understand DAG3
it is still possible to file an application for .berlin

 if the applicant is the Town of Berlin (Vermont) with a support letter of
the US Government.

This is not acceptable for Capital Cities.

The Internet has the ability to offer unlimited opportunies to businesses
all around the world.

Unfortnately, there is so much competition that it makes it extremely
dlifficult for businesses (particarly small 

businesses) to distinguish themselves on local and community levels--were
most business is done.

 

New TDLs would allow many small businesses to focus efforts and be more
easily identifiable to local customers.

 

I feel very strongly that regional top-level domain names could drastically
improve my business. 

 

Please do not continue to stall the process.
