My opinion is very negative about making domain name system available in
ethnic characters.
This will create a great confusion. Same company names can be written in
many way, especially Asian languages where the same word can written
grammatically correct in many ways.
People requesting such a service are only trying to promote their native
language. This is probably the reason for such requests.

This is so far my opinion.
